🐦 Species: Strakatka
Strakatkas do not consume ordinary food. They feed on the adrenaline aura of other creatures. Because of this, they often appear where danger is near, or close to beings experiencing intense fear or excitement — Lumins included.
Their sharp, whistle‑like call is not a warning signal in the human sense. It is an instinctive expression of interest. A strakatka perceives an intruder as a source of “fresh adrenaline,” and its whistle is a way of claiming that source — along with the territory it stands on.
🔄 Aura Suppression
No one knows why, but Lira’s presence suppresses Seyra’s aura.
When Lira is nearby, Seyra glows less.
When she’s perched on her shoulder, the aura almost disappears.
When Lira moves away, the aura returns.
It’s one of the reasons Seyra tolerates Lira — though she’d never admit it.
⚡ Paradox
Lira suppresses light… …but whistles at the worst possible moment.
It’s like having:
the best light dampener
and the worst alarm
in one small, elegant bird.
🧠 Communication
Lira communicates with Seyra telepathically. Mostly through specific emotional impressions — roughly in the style of “exactly like that.”
