Guide
A Guide is a creature that carries the spark of Familiarity. For a creature to become a Guide, both the creature and the humanoid must be ready.
the creature: must possess the magical divergence (Familiarity)
the humanoid: must have a quality that resonates with it
Only then can the creature step into the role of a Guide.
The Guide’s Choice
A Guide always chooses the humanoid. It never works the other way around. A humanoid cannot force, summon, or select a Guide — they can only be someone the creature can resonate with.
The Bond
The Bond is a relationship between a Guide and a humanoid. For the Bond to form, both must be ready again — but on a different level.
the creature: must choose the humanoid
the humanoid: must be open to receiving the bond
A Guide can exist without a Bond. A Bond can form only when both are aligned to the same current.
